Welcome to the web site of Niagara 's Community Land Stewardship Council, Land Care Niagara. This site is intended to both provide information about us and our activities and to facilitate communication with us by interested parties. As a not-for-profit community-based organization we seek to provide services and information to rural landowners and other users of private and public lands in Niagara through educational outreach, training initiatives, and land stewardship activities.

Technical Support - Can We Help You?

Annually, Land Care Niagara serves 400 clients. Many calls are dealt with directly by LCN through information packages and discussions with landowners and agencies, but some calls are referred directly to experts within and outside the Niagara Region.

At LCN we have fingertip access to over 200 agencies and organizations involved in land, natural resources and the environment in Ontario. This includes access to specific programs, contact names and technical information these groups have.

Financial Support - Do You Have a Project?

Land Care Niagara financially supports action-oriented projects that promote wise land management in Niagara. This includes funding for plant material for properties that support the Niagara Natural Heritage Corridor program. For more information and an application package contact Mike Rose.
